Position Details
Anaheim Elementary School District is seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for the upcoming school year. Multiple openings are available supporting elementary-aged students with a variety of medical needs.
Whether you are interested in providing dedicated 1:1 support or serving students across a school campus, these positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive team of educators, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing services and health-related support throughout the school day
Assist students with medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator support, G-Tube feeding, oxygen monitoring, seizure precautions, and diabetic management
Implement and monitor student health plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district health procedures
Respond to student health concerns and emergencies as needed
Requirements
Active California LVN License required
Current CPR/BLS Certification required
Pediatric, school-based, or medically fragile experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Trach and ventilator experience preferred for certain assignments
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $30-$40/hour depending on experience, qualifications, and assignment type.
