Qualifications:
- Valid and current DE Certified RN license
- Previous experience working as an LPN, LVN, or RN in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a 150-student caseload
- Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care, first aid, and triage for student health needs throughout the school day
- Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in accordance with school policy and state regulations
- Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical requirements
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to foster a safe and healthy environment
- Provide health education and promote wellness for students and staff
- Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and ensure effective follow-up
