Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN license
- Previous pediatric experience, especially in a 1:1 or school-based role, strongly preferred
- Ability to engage with children in an empathetic, supportive, and professional manner
- Commitment to reliability and punctuality, with the schedule beginning at 7:55 am
- Strong communication skills to interact with educators, parents, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a designated elementary student throughout the school day
- Support the students health, daily needs, and well-being in accordance with their care plan
- Administer medications, monitor health status, and respond to emergencies or changing needs
- Collaborate closely with school personnel and the students family to ensure comprehensive care
- Assist in daily routines such as classroom transitions, meals, and extracurricular activities
This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (3537 hours weekly) beginning with orientation on August 24th and shifting into regular duties from August 26th through the end of the school year.
