Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a male student as a 1:1 LPN or RN with a school-based assignment near Boston, MA. This full-time role, approximately 40 hours per week, extends through the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year, continues through the summer, and is anticipated to be ongoing into the 2026-2027 year. The position encompasses both in-school and transportation-focused care in a nurturing educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Massachusetts nursing license (LPN or RN)
- Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Reliability and professionalism in adhering to school/district policies
- Capacity to provide compassionate, attentive 1:1 care
- Flexibility to commit through the fall semester and potentially the following year
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering daily 1:1 care to support the students health and educational needs
- Accompanying the student on transportation to and from school, providing medical supervision as required
- Collaborating with educational staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Documenting care and communication with educational and healthcare teams
- Maintaining compliance with all nursing regulations and school policies
