Make a meaningful difference in a students school day by providing essential one-on-one nursing care as an LPN or RN. This contract position centers around supporting a male Out of District student, ensuring continuity of care both at school and during transportation. The assignment is planned to extend through the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year, across summer, and may continue through the 2026/2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Active MA nursing license (LPN or RN) is required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to student-centered care, including supporting medical needs on school transportation
- Capacity to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care tailored to the students needs within school and during transit
- Monitor and document medical status, medication administration, and any changes in condition
- Communicate with educators, therapists, and parents to coordinate care plans
- Participate in relevant meetings to support educational and health objectives
- Ensure all nursing interventions adhere to state and district guidelines
