Key Qualifications:
- Active DE Certified RN license required
- Experience as an LPN, LVN, or RN in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage care for students ages 9-12
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, staff, and families
- Strong organization for handling health records and caseload documentation
Position Details:
- Start date: August 24, 2026 | End date: June 3, 2027
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve as the primary nurse for approximately 150 students
- Provide daily direct care, medical oversight, emergency response, and health assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to address student health needs
- Administer prescribed medications and manage chronic conditions to ensure student safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school health policies
