Requirements:
- Active and current LMFT license
- Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- State-issued LMFT license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based or youth-focused settings preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and document treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling for students, addressing social, emotional, and family dynamics impacting learning
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to create actionable support plans
- Identify at-risk students and implement targeted interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student wellbeing
- Maintain thorough documentation, adhering to ethical and privacy guidelines
- Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed
