Youll be working part-time, providing approximately 3 hours of therapy each week for two students in need of specialized support. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 27th, offering a meaningful way to make an impact over the course of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or equivalent credentials required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
• Empathy, patience, and a collaborative approach to working with students and educators

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one music therapy sessions tailored to each students needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and progress plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Document sessions, maintain records, and monitor student progress
• Adapt techniques and materials to suit varying abilities and preferences
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages engagement and growth
