Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited program in Orientation and Mobility or related field
• Current and valid certification from The Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) or The National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB)
• Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations
• Strong understanding of fine motor skill development
• Compassionate, collaborative, and patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and implement individualized plans that foster orientation and mobility skill growth
• Deliver direct services to students with visual impairments, focusing on independent travel and safe movement within school and community environments
• Teach and reinforce fine motor skills, promoting functional independence
