Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Colorado OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in school-based settings, with comfort spanning K-12 age groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing direct therapy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous supervision of COTAs is advantageous
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute expertise to the IEP team
  • Supervise and support an on-site COTA, ensuring consistency and quality in therapy services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff across multiple school sites
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district and legal guidelines
  • Champion student independence in school participation and daily living activities
