Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience with school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience with pediatric populations in educational settings is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services within a school setting across multiple grade levels
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans supporting academic and life skills
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide professional input for student goals
• Evaluate student progress, document findings, and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate teachers, paraprofessionals, and families on strategies that enhance student participation and independence
• Support transitions between grade levels and assist with orientation for new students as appropriate
