Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to support student success throughout the upcoming 26/27 school year.
What were looking for:
- Current OT license and credentials to practice in California (or eligibility to obtain them)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, and educational documentation
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy approaches
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload with flexibility
Role responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and providing direct/indirect occupational therapy services to students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that support students educational goals
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Documenting progress, participating in IEP meetings, and recommending adaptations or assistive technology
- Staying current with best practices in school-based OT and participating in professional development
