Step into a dynamic contract role near Las Vegas, NV, where your expertise as a School Occupational Therapist will make a meaningful impact across three vibrant campuses. In this full-time position, youll work onsite with K-8 students, fostering their growth and development as they navigate their educational journeys.
This opportunity spans the entire academic year, running from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Youll collaborate with educators and families, providing essential OT services during regular school hours from 8 am to 4 pm, ensuring continuity of care and robust support for your students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Nevada OT license (must provide a copy with application)
- Prior experience working as a school-based Occupational Therapist strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting K-8 caseloads across multiple campuses
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptable to diverse student needs and school environments
- Attention to detail and commitment to compliance in documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions and assessments for K-8 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Travel between three campuses: Cadence, Northvalley, and Southwest Las Vegas
- Maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
