School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Massachusetts | 2026-2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based opportunity in Massachusetts for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026. This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment while helping students strengthen the skills needed for academic and developmental success.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced school-based therapists, as well as Occupational Therapists looking to transition from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or hospital settings into the school system.
Position Details
Full-time opportunity
August 2026 - June 2027
Onsite position
K-12th grade caseload age groups
Additional caseload details to be discussed on interview
Supportive district and multidisciplinary therapy team
1-2 school sites for assignment
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services in alignment with student IEP goals
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Develop individualized treatment plans to support student growth and independence
Participate in IEP meetings and progress updates
Requirements
Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license
Ability to work onsite within a school-based setting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
Open to candidates transitioning from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or medical settings
