Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing exceptional occupational therapy services to students ages 218 in a supportive educational environment near Lawrenceville, GA. This role is ideal for a passionate, credentialed Occupational Therapist ready to make a difference through school-based, healthcare, and home-health occupational therapy expertise.
In this position, youll collaborate with a caring team and play a vital role in supporting students academic and personal growth. The assignment is full-time, with 40 hours per week across a standard MondayFriday schedule, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 2027.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required
- Experience in school, home health, and healthcare OT settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse pediatric population (ages 218)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and case management abilities
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering student success
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and group OT services within educational and home settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans targeted to student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, administrators, families)
- Maintain documentation and track student progress consistently
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
