Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Colorado
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
- Effective time management and adaptability to school routines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the needs of students
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, using evidence-based techniques
- Track progress and document all interventions and outcomes in compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students motor and adaptive functioning
- Adapt equipment and classroom environments as required to promote student accessibility
