Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
• Previous experience in school-based OT, especially with K-6th grade population
• Skills in home health and general healthcare settings are valuable

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored for K-6th grade students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans in coordination with the educational team
• Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultative support to teachers and families to implement strategies within classroom and home environments
• Stay current on best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and school-based therapy approaches
