Desired Skills and Background:
- Valid OT license in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience providing Occupational Therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation and collaboration
- Ability to customize interventions to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance requirements
- Comfortable adapting to a variety of learning environments and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services directly to students, supporting their ability to access curriculum and participate fully in school life
- Consult with educators, parents, and staff to develop and adapt strategies for students success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to individualized plans
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to foster positive student outcomes
