Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contracted Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Shiprock, NM! This unique opportunity allows you to draw upon your specialized skills to work with a small, focused caseloadspecifically, providing dedicated therapy services to two students, each for 30 minutes per week. Partner closely with school staff and families in an environment committed to student success. Service dates for this assignment are August 3 through May 19.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license (NM OT or eligible to obtain)
- At least 1 year of experience in school, healthcare, or home health occupational therapy, preferably with children or adolescents
- Understanding of IEP process, documentation requirements, and collaboration with educational teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to supporting students and their families
- Adaptable, reliable, and ready for a contract assignment for the 2024-2025 school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to two students, 30 minutes per week each, as per their individual education plans
- Develop engaging interventions tailored to each student's goals and strengths
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student potential
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
