Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school and post-secondary students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract-based role offers a collaborative work environment with a manageable caseload shared alongside another enthusiastic OT. With 35 hours per week, youll have time to build meaningful relationships with both students and your team, all while enhancing students day-to-day experiences.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an OT
• Previous experience in school-based or adolescent/post-secondary settings is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and developing individualized interventions
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Strong organization and adaptability in dynamic learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for high school and post-secondary students
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the educational environment
• Collaborate closely with another OT to coordinate and manage a shared caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings, documenting student progress, and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource for teachers and families to support student participation, independence, and access to curriculum
• Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters student growth and well-being
