Full-Time Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) Illinois

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for the flexibility of remote work while making a meaningful difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide virtual services to K12 students across Illinois. In this role, you'll help students develop the skills needed to succeed academically, socially, and independentlyall from the comfort of your home office.
What You'll Do
As a Remote Occupational Therapist, you will:
Provide virtual occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and service recommendations
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Support students in areas such as:
Fine motor development
Visual-motor integration
Sensory processing and regulation
Self-help and daily living skills
Classroom participation and independence
Monitor student progress and document outcomes
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Recommend accommodations, assistive technology, and intervention strategies that support student success
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
NBCOT certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based experience
Experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery
Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
Experience working with K12 students
