Job Description
Make a meaningful difference for students in an educational environment as an Occupational Therapist providing specialized support during the 2026/2027 school year. Two contract opportunities are available: a full-time district-wide position serving four sites with a caseload of 60, and a part-time role for two days a week (16 hours) with caseload and location details to be confirmed. Both positions offer the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals and positively impact students' access to learning and development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, individualized program development, and adaptable treatment modalities
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and time management to navigate multiple sites or caseloads
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students needs within the educational setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services across assigned school sites
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
- Document interventions, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource for OT best practices, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications
