Job Description
Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This flexible, part-time position, located near Wilmington, DE, is ideal for those with experience in school settings and a passion for helping young learners thrive.
Youll have the potential to work one to three days each week (depending on enrollment), beginning around August 24th and continuing through June 15th. Your days will be spent conducting evaluations, reviewing 60-day IEPs, and monitoring benchmarks to ensure students developmental needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Delaware Occupational Therapy certification is required
- Direct experience in school-based settings, including writing thorough evaluations
- Skilled in participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams
- Background in home health, pediatric healthcare, or related settings is a plus
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations and document findings
- Attend IEP meetings, contributing your professional insights to student plans
- Assess benchmarks and review 60-day IEPs to align therapy goals with educational progress
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate best practices
