Job Description

Seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for supporting students to serve as special education paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is based near Andover, MN and involves working 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Several vacancies are available in resource programming, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) centerbase, and Ready Set LAUNCH centerbase programming. Key Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified as a paraprofessional by ONE of the following:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (attach score)
  • At least 60 college credits (official college transcript required; photos of degrees/diplomas do not suffice)
• Resume and proof of qualifications are mandatory for application consideration
• Willingness to assist with toileting and personal care as part of daily responsibilities
• Experience supporting students with a range of academic and developmental needs preferred
• Comfort working in collaborative, fast-paced school environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in special education resource, DCD, or LAUNCH programs as assigned
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement learning strategies and accommodations
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
