Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven background as a Paraprofessional or in a related role working with school-age children
• Familiarity with classroom management and guidance strategies
• Ability to assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in child development or education is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support to students under the supervision of lead teachers
• Assist with individual and small group activities to reinforce learning concepts
• Help monitor student progress and behavior, reporting concerns as needed
• Aid students with special needs in adapting to various classroom activities
• Prepare materials and set up classroom equipment as directed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
