Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, or similar support role in an educational setting is highly preferred
• Understanding of child development and effective classroom management techniques
• Ability to provide instructional and behavioral support to students, including those with diverse learning needs or disabilities
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Adaptability, compassion, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges in educational contexts

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and reinforcing instructional concepts
• Support students individually or in small groups under the direction of the lead teacher
• Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
• Monitor student activities, behavior, and engagement to foster a positive learning environment
• Document student progress and share relevant information with the instructional team
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required
