Immediate openings are available for passionate individuals to step into Special Education Paraprofessional roles, offering either 1:1 assistance or classroom-based support across K-12 age groups on a contract basis. What Were Looking For:
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students with disabilities and varying learning styles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families
- Experience implementing behavior support plans and using positive behavior interventions consistent with district guidelines
- Background providing instructional assistanceadapting and reinforcing lessons under the guidance of certified educators
- Flexibility and adaptability to address unique student requirements and shifting classroom environments
- Strict adherence to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
- Strong organizational skills with experience in data collection and progress monitoring
- Ability to follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assist students in academics, social skills, and behavioral development
Key Details:
- Position begins as soon as possible, running until May 29, 2026
- 30 hours per week across 5 days
- Serve K-12 students, offering either one-on-one or group support, depending on placement
