Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Student Support Aide for a full-time school-based position in Elk Grove, California. This role provides direct academic and behavioral support to students, helping them stay engaged in learning and succeed in a structured classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Support students in classroom settings by assisting with academic tasks and activities
Provide behavioral and social-emotional support throughout the school day
Help students follow classroom routines, expectations, and transitions
Offer encouragement, redirection, and positive reinforcement as needed
Assist teachers with instructional support and classroom supervision
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning goals
Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student success

Qualifications:

Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
Background in education, childcare, behavioral support, or related fields is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a structured, team-based school environment
High school diploma or equivalent required

Position Details:

Location: Elk Grove, CA
Schedule: Full-Time (MondayFriday)
Pay Rate: $22 per hour
