Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role is highly valued

• Strong communication skills and an approachable, patient manner
• Ability to follow teacher direction, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily needs and routines within a school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, assignments, and student engagement
• Support students individually or in small groups based on specific learning needs
• Help maintain organization and a positive atmosphere in the classroom
• Contribute to behavior management plans and intervention strategies
• Supervise students in various settings, including recess, lunch, and transitions
• Perform administrative or clerical tasks as needed to support classroom instruction
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to foster a supportive learning environment
