Job Description

Support meaningful learning in a rewarding educational setting near Mesa, AZ as a contract paraprofessional. You'll work alongside teachers and staff, playing a vital role in creating a positive, inclusive classroom while helping students reach their potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and parents
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for assisting students of diverse abilities
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support classroom management
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with instructional activities and individualized student support
• Provide guidance and encouragement to students, helping them remain focused and engaged in lessons
• Support classroom organization, preparation of materials, and facilitating small group or one-on-one instruction
• Monitor student progress and assist with documenting observations as needed
• Foster a supportive, respectful learning environment for all students
• Help with supervision during transitions, recess, and activities as directed by supervisory staff
