Desired Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in a classroom or school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with special education or working alongside teachers is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and respond flexibly to changing classroom needs
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in empowering students
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons and managing daily classroom activities
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
- Participate in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed
- Encourage student engagement, independence, and positive behavior
- Provide help with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
- Collaborate professionally with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support student success
