Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a similar student support capacity
• Demonstrated ability to provide focused 1:1 care for students with varying needs
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting learners with diverse backgrounds or disabilities
• Team-oriented mindset, collaborating seamlessly with teachers and support staff
• Compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills when addressing student needs
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain composure in dynamic classroom environments

Responsibilities:

• Offer individual support and guidance during classroom instruction and activities
• Assist with the implementation of educational plans, behavioral interventions, or therapeutic strategies as directed by instructional staff and specialists
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for your assigned student
• Encourage independence and participation through thoughtful prompting and support
• Communicate observations and progress effectively to teaching staff and related service providers
• Support students with activities of daily living or adaptive needs as required
