Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively support diverse student populations
- Experience working 1:1 with pediatric students in educational settings
- Comfort collaborating across grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Ability to adapt and communicate with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to confidentiality, student safety, and individualized instruction
- Willingness to work on-site within school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, one-on-one assistance to assigned students, adapting to specific educational and behavioral needs
- Support classroom teachers with lesson implementation, activities, and accommodations to ensure student engagement
- Monitor and report on student progress, participating in team meetings as needed
- Encourage a positive, inclusive environment, reinforcing social-emotional growth and self-advocacy
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and communication to build student independence
