Paraprofessional Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional in Sacramento, CA to support K-12 students in a school-based setting. This full-time Paraprofessional position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
As a Paraprofessional, responsibilities include:
Providing direct support to students in general education and special education classrooms
Assisting teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
Supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings
Helping implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and student accommodations
Reinforcing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student success
Paraprofessional Requirements
Previous experience working with children or students preferred
Experience in education, special education, childcare, or behavioral support is a plus
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Passion for helping students learn and grow
