Qualifications:
- Possess an Associates degree or hold a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification
- Minimum of one years prior experience in a school environment
- Comfortable working as a behavior specialist and providing one-on-one support, especially with pediatric students
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to remain patient, flexible, and attentive to the needs of students with behavioral or learning challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized support strategies for assigned students, under the supervision of teachers and school specialists
- Assist classroom teachers in managing daily activities and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback and support tailored to educational and behavioral goals
- Help with academic tasks, personal care needs, and social integration to ensure each students participation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapy staff, and families to adapt techniques that encourage student development and well-being
