Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapist Certification required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating students and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet a variety of student needs across grades K-12
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to providing high-quality care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Design, implement, and monitor appropriate IEP goals and therapy interventions in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all relevant policies
- Consult with educators and parents to support student success in school-based settings
- Flexibly support students with diverse abilities; further caseload details will be discussed during the interview
