Job Description

Shape student success by providing expert physical therapy services across multiple school sites in a contract position beginning August 21, 2026, and finishing June 14, 2026. Serving approximately 40 students spanning pre-K through 12th grade, this role offers challenging variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. With a manageable schedule of 32.5 hours per week and engagement across 8 schools, each workday will be dynamic and rewarding.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in the state
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children (preK12+) strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse student populations
  • Commitment to collaborative teaming with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Strong organizational skills to balance caseload across multiple buildings
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to approximately 40 students
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress toward IEP/504 goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, supporting goal development and reporting measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other therapists to enhance student inclusion and success
  • Travel to and coordinate support for 8 school sites, adapting services to each school community
  • Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations to maximize student access and participation
