Key experience and qualifications:
- Valid Texas Physical Therapist Certification
- Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
- Confidence designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Aptitude for conducting thorough student evaluations and interpreting findings
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability, working with diverse K-12 caseloads
Your primary responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students needs and progress
- Design, implement, and monitor IEPs as part of a collaborative educational team
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services
- Document interventions, maintain records, and report on student progress
- Participate in meetings, share insights, and provide recommendations to help students reach their full potential
