Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract position focused on supporting students physical development in an educational setting. This part-time opportunity begins August 11, 2025, and continues through June 17, 2026, perfect for professionals seeking a consistent yet flexible schedule. With a weekly commitment of 10 hours, youll deliver vital physical therapy services to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade, traveling between campuses near Haverhill and Lawrence, MA. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel between sites.

Schedule Details:

  • Flexible days and hours: Start service anytime after 8 AM, wrapping up by 3 PM, according to your availability that fits within school hours.
  • Onsite only: Provide hands-on support to students across multiple campuses within the region.

Your Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy license for the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy is preferred.
  • Ability to interact with children from Kindergarten through Middle School effectively.
  • Must be able to pass all required background checks, including fingerprinting and CORI.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate schedules and document services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned campuses to deliver individualized and group PT sessions.
  • Evaluate students needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to support each students progress.
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation according to district and professional standards.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and develop IEP-related goals when required.
