Make a difference in students lives in a supportive educational environment, working with a diverse K-12 caseload as a Physical Therapist. This part-time opportunity allows you to share your expertise just one day a week, providing vital services that help students achieve their fullest potential during the 20262027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist certification in Texas required
- Experience working with K-12 school-aged children preferred
- Experience in evaluations, developing, and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What Youll Do:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of students' physical therapy needs
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) according to student requirements
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with each students goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by the school team
- Provide recommendations and support to educational staff and parents regarding student needs
- Engage in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and collaborating on effective student care plans
