Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated physical therapist to make a meaningful impact in schools and support students from kindergarten through 8th grade! This contract, part-time position begins August 11, 2025, and runs through June 17, 2026. The ideal candidate will provide onsite PT services, working approximately 10 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Youll travel to schools, primarily serving campuses in the Lawrence, MA area. Start your day as early as 8 AM or finish by 3 PMenjoy flexibility to fit your lifestyle.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling between different campuses
• Must complete fingerprints and CORI background check before beginning assignment
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Ability to connect with K-8 students and effectively contribute to their physical development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PT services to students across K-8 grade levels according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support students mobility and independence in the classroom environment
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress as required
• Adapt activities and materials to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Travel between assigned campuses (mileage reimbursement provided)

Onsite service delivery means youll have direct interaction with students and school staff, helping maximize each childs potential in their school experience.
