Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as part of an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role centers on providing onsite physical therapy services for a diverse caseload, making a tangible difference in young learners lives. Youll work 14 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, from June 22 through July 30, 2026, ensuring students have access to essential support throughout the summer.

Desired qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience working with pediatric or K-12 populations in educational settings is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress clearly

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students following their individualized education plans
• Deliver therapy onsite, adapting interventions to meet each students unique developmental and academic needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Monitor, record, and communicate student progress to foster a supportive learning environment
• Educate students, families, and school personnel on interventions, preventative care, and at-home exercises
