Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity, supporting students of all ages as an onsite Physical Therapist for an ESY (Extended School Year) program. This position is located near Reading, PA, and will run from June 22 through July 30, 2026. In this role, you will provide dedicated support to a diverse K-12 student population, fostering growth, independence, and success throughout the summer session.
This assignment involves working 14 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, enabling excellent work-life balance for the duration of the contract. Collaborate with a knowledgeable team of educators, using your expertise to assess and treat students physical challenges to help them fully access their educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Pennsylvania licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services according to each students IEP or therapeutic goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy techniques based on evolving student needs throughout the ESY program
