Job Description
Make a positive impact this summer working onsite in a supportive school environment near Reading, PA. We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an extended school year (ESY) contract position, providing services to a diverse K-12 caseload. Work closely with students, educators, and families to foster independence and achievement for all learners.
This part-time assignment runs from June 22 to July 30, 2026, with a schedule of 14 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Youll have the rewarding opportunity to help students reach important milestones while enjoying exceptional support and flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required
- Active licensure to practice in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and manage a varied caseload effectively
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services onsite to students in grades K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Promote an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
