Step into a rewarding role supporting students from preK through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting near West Rutland, VT. As a Physical Therapist on contract, youll have the opportunity to work with an average caseload of 40 students across eight different school sites, providing essential therapy and interventions to help students thrive academically and physically. This position runs from August 21, 2026, to June 14, 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about educational therapy settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Adaptability to manage travel between eight school locations
• Experience with a broad age range, from preK up to high school

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students, following IEPs and educational plans
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy recommendations
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers and staff to ensure appropriate support within classroom settings
• Travel between assigned schools within the district during the workweek
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment encouraging student development
