Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Boston, MA, supporting K-12 students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, providing consistency and the chance to make a significant impact. Youll support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) with approximately 13 hours per week, then transition to 32.5 hours weekly for the 2026/27 school year, working Monday through Friday.
In this dynamic environment, youll implement evidence-based behavior plans and collaborate closely with educational teams to foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students. Compensation for this role is competitive and will reflect your experience and position, with a typical pay range between $24 and $32 per hour.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required, or relevant paraprofessional experience in a school setting
- Experience supporting children or adolescents in a behavioral or special education environment
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support personnel
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or group behavioral support to K-12 students
- Implement and track progress of behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- Assist in classroom management and student transitions throughout the school day
- Document interventions, collect data, and communicate updates to the team
- Support inclusion in general education settings when appropriate
