This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work one-on-one with students while collaborating with educators and special education professionals to help students succeed both academically and socially.

Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll provide direct behavioral support to students with moderate to severe behavioral needs. Most assignments are 32.5 hours per week (6.5 hours per day), with some positions offering up to 40 hours per week depending on whether student transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students in a school setting.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of the BCBA or district team.
• Support students exhibiting moderate to severe behaviors, including aggression, hitting, and kicking.
• Collect behavioral data and document student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Assist students with daily routines and classroom participation.
• Toileting assistance may be required for elementary-aged students.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Behavioral Technician credential through the Washington Department of Health or an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• CPI or other crisis prevention/de-escalation training is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with students with behavioral challenges is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
