Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification in New Jersey
• Pediatric or school-based nursing experience highly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in student care
• Reliable and compassionate, with the ability to adapt to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing support for students, including medication administration, monitoring of health status, and addressing any urgent needs
• Provide professional support during school transportation, ensuring student safety from pick-up through drop-off
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to customize care plans and interventions
• Maintain detailed and compliant health records
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed, contributing clinical insights
• Work closely with district staff to promote a safe, inclusive school environment
