This contract opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse who enjoys balancing clinical expertise with the rewarding experience of working closely with young learners in a school setting. With a part-time schedule, youll be providing essential nursing services to a small caseload of 1-5 students across two sites.

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Experience providing nursing services in schools or pediatric settings is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable conducting hearing and vision assessments.
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed (Chino and Wildomar).
  • Detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with legal nursing practices and documentation in an educational context is a plus.
  • Compassionate, approachable, and sensitive to students needs.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform routine visual and hearing screenings as part of the school health program.
  • Monitor medical needs and develop appropriate care plans for students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
  • Serve as a resource on student health concerns, collaborating with educators and parents.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and school district health policies.
  • Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid or medication administration if required.
  • Participate in school health education and advocacy initiatives.
