Job Description

ProCare is currently seeking a skilled Licensed School Nurse for an opening in Minneapolis for the 26/27 school year.

Details:

• Full time
• Sep 9th until June 10th
•  The (LSN) is responsible for managing daily student intake & basic health assessments, assisting students with routine health care procedures and screenings, providing first aid and care to students, medication administration, data entry & health information maintenance. The (LSN) provides preventive health services to facilitate the students optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social growth and development.
• Small district compared to other districts in the area - all schools are within 3 mile radius, very diverse school (about 75% of student population are students of color)
• Staff hours are 8-4 but school may start earlier or later depending on the site

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Minnesota School Nurse License with Public Health Nursing registration.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and urban school settings is preferred.
• Moderate experience as a school nurse, public health, or pediatrics.

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.91 to $56.91. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
