Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation License for Registered Nurse (RN)
• School Nurse Professional Educator License (PEL) CSN licensure is required
• Experience providing nursing care and oversight in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with district staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver oversight and leadership for school health services throughout the district
• Conduct assessments, manage student health records, and ensure compliance with district and state health requirements
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and families regarding health policies and wellness initiatives
• Support the implementation of care plans for students with medical needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams as required
• Provide emergency care and training on health protocols to school personnel
